Position Available: Site Supervisor - SA Gov
Location: Adelaide CBD
Role Overview: Our client is seeking a Site Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction or engineering, with experience in project management and on-site supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise contractors and assessment teams during demolitions and hazard reduction work.
- Oversee contractors involved in asbestos removal.
- Liaise with property owners to ensure smooth project operations.
- Coordinate field operations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Validate operational information provided by contractors to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct pre-start meetings to outline project objectives and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, workflow efficiency, and project timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Health, Safety, and Environment Officers to maintain high safety standards.
- Provide regular reports on project progress and completion status.
- Possess necessary licenses including a driver's license, construction induction card, and building work supervisor's registration.
- Hold relevant accreditation/training such as a first aid certificate.
- Undergo a police check as part of the employment requirements.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight in regional towns accross SA.

- This position is currently available on a temporary contract basis with the potential for part-time availability.
- Flexibility in working arrangements may be considered, with a combination of office and remote work negotiable upon selection of the successful candidate.
