Our projects are based all around suburban and metropolitan Adelaide, including the Adelaide Hills with some remote and regional work available.
What you will be responsible for:
- Oversee and manage the construction process, including coordinating and directing workers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assisting our Project and Construction Managers; ensuring the project is carried out on budget, meeting quality standards and in a timely manner
- Ensure safety regulations and building codes and conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or violations.
- Manage and resolve conflicts between parties involved in the project.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, costs and quality control measures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.
- Identify and address any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
- .Supervise all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications and permits.
- Manage the allocation of resources; including labour, materials and equipment.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Must be experienced in civil construction and earthworks (minimum 5 years exp).
- Experience with subdivisions.
- Experienced as a team leader with site operations.
- Ability to liaise effectively with employees from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Good communication and people skills to enable communication with employees, client / architect/s, subcontractors, project manager, etc.

- Must be able to take charge of a situation and make a decision.
- A trade background is desirable.
- Must have be competent in plan reading.
- Strong organisational skills and documentation recording abilities.
- Plant Operator tickets.
- Current first aid certificate.
- White card (essential).
- Certificate IV/Diploma in Civil Construction supervision (desirable).
- Full working rights in Australia.
