About the role
In this community-focused role, you will help improve safety in the City’s thoroughfares and public spaces by monitoring and effectively regulating certain types of crime and antisocial behaviour via patrols, cooperation with police, building relationships in the community, and through the enforcement of local laws.
Our ideal candidate
- Qualifications relevant to security, law enforcement or similar discipline, with considerable experience
- Excellent communication skills and proven negotiation and conflict resolution capability
- Ability to network and build collaborative and effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent personal presentation
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with maturity, discretion, and astute judgement
- Flexibility to work the hours required
- High level aerobic fitness
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current satisfactory National Police Clearance (minimum requirement)
- Current WA ‘C’ class driver's licence
