Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Safety Advisor - Roaming to join the team in Brisbane, with the potential of interstate travel on occasion.
In this role, you will be required to undertake inspections and internal audits to determine conformance to our own Integrated Management System and Project Health and Safety Management Plans across multiple construction projects.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain HSEQ standards and policies across our sites.
- Conduct regular inspections and task observations.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to the team with task planning and work methodology.
- On board our sub-contractors.
- Attend and lead safety meetings and tool box talks.
- Investigate incidents.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a safety role working with reputable builders.
- Minimum of Cert 4 in WHS, First Aid and CPR.
- You come from a trade or construction background.
- Approachable and willing to assist our site teams and sub-contractors.
- Effective and concise communication with all stakeholders.
- Confident in your ability to positively influence the people you work with.
- Solid knowledge of WHS laws and legislation.
- Incident investigation training (desirable).
- Experience working on brownfield and high risk sites (desirable).
