The Role:
As the Safety Officer, you will work with the Project Managers, Site Manager,
Site Supervisors and general stakeholders to implement company OHS&W policy and systems.
Duties include:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team, promoting positive Safety culture.
- Ensure all suppliers and subcontractors comply with HSE requirements and have an appropriate system in place.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any HSE concerns or requirements.
- Ensure site inductions are completed in accordance with company policy
- Complete regular site safety inspections
- Maintain and manage site OHS records
You will have a minimum of Cert IV in HSE or a Tertiary qualification with proven experience as a Safety Officer within civil, construction or mining. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a White Card and drivers licence.
