The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of quality capital works projects for TasWater that will meet the needs of TasWater's business, their stakeholders and the communities of Tasmania for years to come. Our projects are based across the state of Tasmania, some including the Selfs Point Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion Project, Tamar Estuary River Health Action Plan Project (TERHAP), Bicheno Recycled Water Scheme. Regional Towns Water Supply Project, Smithton Sewage Pump Station Upgrade & Pet Dam Safety Upgrade.This exciting role is a fixed term 6 month position to be based in the Northwest and covers five projects from Launceston across to Smithton.About the role:
- Providing advice and supporting Project Delivery Teams in driving improvements in safety performance
- aligning and delivering CDO safety programs
- identifying and managing WH&S risks within the business
- providing advice on ad supporting a safe and healthy workplace
- ensuring that practices reflect the highest standards in WH&S.
- 3-5 years WH&S experience
- Diploma (ideal but not mandatory)
- Flexibility
- A Civil or mechanical/electrical/water infrastructure background.
