Our client is a leading provider of cleaning and security services to the Airports and Aviation industry, serving both domestic and international airports. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on safety, they deliver a wide range of services including security, waste management, and cleaning. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Safety and Compliance Manager to play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage Safety and Compliance programs for all Aviation and services.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to integrate safety measures into daily activities and processes.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and industry trends, and update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Lead incident investigations, analyse root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance safety awareness and Compliance among staff.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and participate in relevant industry forums.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports as required.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Safety and Compliance initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Safety and Compliance Manager in the Aviation or the Maritime industry.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CSM) is a plus.
