About the role
We are currently seeking a Safety and Training Administrator to join Laing O'Rourke on our new iconic civil infrastructure project in Canterbury , NSW. This permanent, full-time role offers exciting career opportunities in joining a people-centric, privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
- Provide all round administrative support to the Health and Safety Team
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting
- Monitor employee and subcontractor compliance on the HSE system
- Assist with onsite safety requirements, such as SWMS, Toolbox talks, and internal safety audits when required
- Manage PPE requirements for all onsite personnel
- Assist with coordination of training requirements
About you
- Previous experience working in a site based safety administration role
- Desire to develop and advance your career in HSE
- Qualification related to HSE or working towards one is desirable but not mandatory
- Understanding of current health and safety legislation, procedures, processes, and best practices
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
