About the role
We are currently seeking a Safety and Training Administrator to join Laing O'Rourke on our new iconic civil infrastructure project in Canterbury , NSW. This permanent, full-time role offers exciting career opportunities in joining a people-centric, privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
Provide all round administrative support to the Health and Safety Team
Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting
Monitor employee and subcontractor compliance on the HSE system
Assist with onsite safety requirements, such as SWMS, Toolbox talks, and internal safety audits when required
Manage PPE requirements for all onsite personnel
Assist with coordination of training requirements
About you
Previous experience working in a site based safety administration role
Desire to develop and advance your career in HSE
Qualification related to HSE or working towards one is desirable but not mandatory
Understanding of current health and safety legislation, procedures, processes, and best practices
Ability to build strong working relationships
Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
