They specialise in the delivery of New Build Residential and Apartment projects, operating across NSW and delivering multi-residential projects valued from $50 - $100M. Having secured several new projects, this company has a strong pipeline for ongoing projects. As such, this company is seeking to employ a driven Site Safety Coordinator to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
As a Site Safety Coordinator, you will help to advocate safe work practices. You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. You will also develop policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness.
DUTIES.
- Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks.
- Direct accident investigation procedures
- Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Must have experience with IMS
- Experience working on residential/apartments (Class 2) is required.
- Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar
- Experience in reporting and developing policies
- Excellent communication and advisory skills
- Diligent with an analytical mind
