About the role
Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we have an exciting opportunity for aspiring individuals looking for a future career in compliance. You will be provided with support and guidance as well as exceptional internal and external training to allow you to develop your skills as a SHEQ Officer. This is an on-farm role based in Griffith Region, NSW and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. In this role you will support and collaborate with our Farm Managers to complete their planned compliance tasks across Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (‘SHEQ’). You will be the first point of contact for SHEQ support and matters within an allocated group of farms and will work with our people to proactively support a positive WHS culture across the organization.

About you
As this is an entry level role, previous experience with SHEQ systems is not essential, but would be highly regarded. You are efficient, with excellent attention to detail and a compliance mindset. Your ability to keep accurate records, produce reports, make recommendations, and maintain a pro-active approach to SHEQ compliance and culture will be an asset to the business. You are a proven self-starter who is able to collaborate in a small team. We will provide you with the resources to get the job done.
You are prepared and committed to undertake further study (Cert 4 in WHS and Cert 4 in Training and Assessment). You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort engaging with our teams and contractors at all levels.
The successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia, a current driver’s license, own vehicle with current registration and insurance (km’s reimbursed) and have a willingness to conduct field work on a regular basis.
