• Implementation of effective risk management processes to ensure SIWE risks are identified
• Contribute to the Primary Connect SIWE governance program by conducting first line of defence audits and supporting close out of any gaps.
• Partnering with the Operational and SIWE team members to continually drive change and deliver Primary Connect's strategic objectives.
• Promote safety values and implement safety, health and environment policies and systems to embed safety into the culture and ways of working
• Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and DC objectives
• Adhere to, and enforce compliance with all legal obligations and requirements

What you'll bring

• Sound experience and working knowledge of safety legislation, codes of practice and standards
• Experience with the development of documentation eg work instructions, SOP's and processes
• Good analysis and problem solving skills / analysing trends and numerical skills
• Experience working within a hands on Safety role
• Diploma or equivalent formal qualifications in WHS or related
