The Position
This company has a rare opportunity to joint their ranks as theHealth and Safety Lead, NSW working over both NSW sites, Botany and Erskine Park.
The role will be responsible for implementing the organisation's Health and Safety plans and strategies and providing Health and Safety advice to internal stakeholders. You would also be:
- Undertaking Risk Assessments
- Developing and Implementing SMS processes
- Evaluate and Montior the incident investigation procedures
- Conducting investigations into workplace incidents
- Establish Risk Management procedures
- Conduct Site Inspections
The Package
Alongside full product and job training given by both my client and their customer covering both the logistics and operational parts of the role, the package on offer for the successful candidate is between $110,000 - $130,000 per year, plus superannuation.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role it is essential that the candidate has experience in Health and Safety management and a minimum of a Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
Good verbal and written communication is also required. Other attributes that would be highly desired by my client are:
- Two (2) years exposure in a leadership role
- An ability to work in a demanding environment, constantly being on the go
- Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently
