Safety Officer

Your responsibilities:

• Performing regular site safety interactions and audits.
• Conducting incident investigations.
• Providing support to the Operations Team and TreeServe as a whole.
• Engage with Workers and Subcontractors to ensure safety understanding.
• Managing and reviewing WHS documents as well as maintaining system and certification compliance.
• Continuing to drive and grow TreeServes safety culture.
• Develop relationships with customers and clients.

Requirements:

• A working knowledge of Work, Health and Safety, including Legislation.
• Certificate IV in WHS or Equivalent (or be willing to obtain this qualification).
• Experience working in a Blue-Collar Environment.
• Advance written and oral communications.
• A preparedness to travel (as required).
• Current Driver’s License.
• Appropriate industry training and certification.
• A sound knowledge in reviewing and writing of safety documentation.
