- Work with a core group of safety professionals within HVP, to assist in guiding both regional and corporate initiatives focusing in continuous improvement.
- Oversight of recreational and community safety issues impacting the plantation estate.

- Proficient in field-based operational tasks and safety protocols.
- Skilled in fostering positive relationships with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in promoting a cooperative safety culture.
- Knowledgeable in high-risk operations and contractor safety management.
- Capable of administering Safety Management Systems and proficient in report writing and analytics, with an aptitude for online safety systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A diploma in OH&S or Certificate IV in OH&S and contemporary workplace experience in the field, or experience in safety auditing would be well regarded.
- This position may require you to travel to other HVP office locations and at times, overnight travel. A current Australian driver's licence is required.
