The Jetstar Engineering Team are at the forefront of delivering our superior safety standards. They are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet of aircraft, including completing all required maintenance that must be carried out on time and to approved standards to ensure they take to the skies safely. At every stage, all maintenance needs to be documented, detailed records maintained, with aircraft parts ordered and available at all times.
As the Safety Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for providing critical data analysis and oversight of the status of safety incident reporting within Engineering. Passionate about analytics, you will be comfortable with designing and generating insightful reports, defining improvements to features and processes across the safety space. This includes preparing monthly reporting packs, data interpretation and communication on insights, participate in daily engineering safety report review meetings and run reports from a range of systems, analyse and provide insights.
To be considered for this role, key skills will include:
- Confidence in the use of a range of computer platforms
- Genuine interest in, and strength in, analytics and reporting – able to collate, analyse and present data in a professional and communicative way
- Some exposure to project coordination and stakeholder management highly regarded
- Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines with an excellent attention to detail
- A positive, results focused disposition and do not shy away from challenges being thrown your way
- Studies (diploma or degree) in a relevant field would hold you in high regard.
- Prior experience using Power BI is highly regarded
