SAFETY & TRAINING CO-ORDINATOR / OHS CO-ORDINATOR
About the Project
Olympic Dam Mine, operated by the largest mining company in the world, BHPB is approximately 550km North-West of Adelaide mining copper, gold and uranium. Redpath provide the safe delivery of development, ground support, services and equipment maintenance through the utilisation of 40 major items of plant, 3 maintenance workshops and specialist modern tooling. As the largest contractor on site you will gain valuable experience to help grow your career.
The role involves
- Working a 2 week on, 2 week off roster; 12hr shifts
- Manage and coordinate all safety and training functions for the project, ensuring adequate resources are provided to support the project operations
- Prepare, deliver and facilitate project meetings as required
- Facilitate and complete risk assessment, management of change and other associated HSET systems requirements
- Maintain and develop the training requirements for all roles at the Project
We are looking for
- Previous experience in a Safety and Training position within the underground hard rock Mining space
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Attention to detail ensuring all standards and compliance are met
- Valid manual drivers licence
- A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
