About the Role
An exciting opportunity now exists at their Meteor Downs South open-cut operation for an experienced HST Officer.
This role will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry, integrity and review of administration associated with Sojitz site(s) Training Schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and audit all administration and system compliance associated with training activities for employees and subcontractors as required to ensure that all persons working onsite are authorised, appointed and competent in order to achieve compliance.
- Assist the Site training Specialist in maintaining the sites compliance and operational capabilities through development, implementation and review of TNA’s.
- Maintain accurate Training Needs Analysis (TNA)to identify gaps between current skill and competency levels and the required relevant staff.
- In conjunction with the Training Specialists ensure ongoing system enhancement; including LITMOS course design and training package development and continuous improvement.
- Day-to-day duties as required by the SHMS, direction of the HST & Wellbeing Manager or as needed to address operational priorities across the project.
- Maintain good working relationships and provide leadership with all site personnel to achieve effective communication and enhance coordination regarding training matters.
- Foster an environment of open communication with site personnel, where feedback and queries are encouraged.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Previous Administration experience In a similar role.
- Demonstrated continual professional development applicable to the role.
- Working knowledge of an open-cut mining environment.
- Understanding and use of LMS such as Litmos or other systems.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring training outcomes.
- Understanding of scope regarding engaged Contractors on-site.
