Safety & Wellbeing Officer

Already have your Cert IV or a higher qualification in WHS?

Has your past safety experience included designing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement?

You will love this role if you enjoy promoting and nurturing a culture of safety and wellbeing, and have a willingness to lead, deliver, and oversee WHS training programs, a WHS Committee, and investigate and recommend ways to eliminate and reduce workplace risks. This is a well-established organisation with existing frameworks, policies, and systems already in place but requiring ongoing attention to ensure continual improvement and to achieve industry best practice in a change environment.

You are a influential communicator and able to work with all levels of employees, program participants, contractors and internal and external stakeholders. You can make recommendations, lead and manage initiatives and programs, and report comprehensively on outcomes.

This is a full-time position where you would be engaged on a fixed term until 31 March 2025.
