About the role
You will be responsible for the delivery of safety and wellbeing operational and risk services and supporting the strategic and day to day operational optimisation.
Leading a small team you will lead the implementation and embedment of the Safety & Wellbeing management system at an operational level as well as oversee the management of safety risks.
What's involved:
Manage the delivery of the relevant Bunnings Safety and Wellbeing Strategic objectives
Ensuring safe systems of work are implemented and monitored, in accordance with the Safety and Wellbeing Management System
Provide leadership and motivation to encourage team members and the wider organisation to achieve excellence
Leading change management activities to support implementation of safety and wellbeing systems, initiatives and programs
Overseeing the safety and wellbeing risk mitigation whilst delivering commercial outcomes
Who we’re looking for:
Bringing your strong relationship and stakeholder engagement skills you will be highly skilled at liaising with all levels of the organisation, building trusted relationships and understanding stakeholder needs.
You are innovative, proactive and a strategic thinker with the ability to adapt and pivot to meet changing business requirements.
You’ll need:
Significant demonstrated experience in Safety & Wellbeing in a complex environment
Tertiary education in health and safety or a related discipline, ideally coupled with relevant experience
Sound working knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing management systems and legislation, including delivery of new systems within a business
Strong planning and organisations skills and a high level of attention to detail
