Sage Horticultural - Warehouse Assistant

Sage Horticultural, established in 1965 is a Melbourne based family-owned manufacturer and supplier to the Horticultural and Agricultural sectors. 

Products include green houses, glasshouses, heat beds, misting systems, nursery handling equipment, plant benches, horticultural materials, pots, crates, trays, and fertilisers.

Due to continued growth, we require the services of a Warehouse Assistant to join our team based in Hallam Victoria.

We are looking for an all-rounder to step into the business that will support our current team members with the following:

• Picking and packing orders.
• Booking freight.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Stocktakes to maintain stock levels.
• Occasional deliveries and pickups in a company vehicle.
• General warehouse duties including cleaning as required.
• Assist customers with warehouse sales.

As the ideal candidate you should possess the following attributes:

• Good communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• Have or be willing to obtain a forklift licence.
• Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required.
• Junior and mature applicants are encouraged to apply.
• An interest in horticulture or gardening would be well regarded.
