We are looking for a motivated Sales Agronomist with a solid understanding of orchards, vines and other crops. You should be skilled at identifying pests and weeds in crops and recommending solutions. Hands on specific training will be provided but you will need a solid foundation on which to build.
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be servicing both existing and prospective customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of Agronomy services to our existing and future customers
- Identify areas of business growth within the Region and work with both the Regional and Branch Manager to capitalising on these opportunities
- Work with the sales agronomy team to provide high quality advice to the client base
- Be part of an energetic team of people that are highly focused on the success of their customers

- Sales of required inputs to the customer base.
- Develop pest control and nutrition programs
- Collect and analyse leaf and soil samples
Skills & Experience
- A tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture or related field
- A passion for Horticulture with an entrepreneurial mind set.
- Good presentation, communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent customer service skills with an ability and willingness to build relationships with key stakeholders essential to your success in this role.
- Relevant computer skills across the Microsoft office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A current drivers' licence is essential
