Our new manufacturing facility in Cowra NSW produces a range of proven ag products and we need an Agronomist to help manage our growth into the ag sector, primarily in central NSW. The owners of the business are involved in its day to day running and will provide all you need in support of your development in the role. Ongoing investment into R&D for biological liquid & granular fertiliser will unlock more markets. Our business supplies liquid fertilisers into Australia's premier sporting stadiums and golf courses as a testament to the efficacy of the products.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy preferable but not essential • Experience in Ag industry sales agronomy • Horticulture experience preferred (products also fit Broadacre and Cotton) • Open minded about soil health and biology • Experience with liquid nutrition desirable• Ability to work autonomously
Tasks & responsibilities
- Take over face2face management of customers (growers and retailers) • Grow established liquid fertiliser market in ag sector • No sales budgets are set • Assist with the R&D program to direct product development • Present trial results to ag customers • Ensure growers have products as needed
