We have a Sales and Client Service Support vacancy in our Head Office, reporting to the Customer Relationship Manager, the position is responsible for liaising with clients, overseas partners and providers, developing client relationships and visiting clients, responding to client enquiries, preparing quotations, and general administrative requirements.
The Position:
Reporting to the Customer Relationship Manager, the position will consist of the following duties and responsibilities:
- Requesting rates from local providers and overseas partners
- Preparation of accurate and timely quotations and submissions to clients
- Client rates updates
- Answering sales enquiries
- Communicate client requirements to ensure a smooth transition with operations
- Maintaining existing clientele; visiting clients
- Promote services and building relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Sales administrative support
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong Client Service focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Highly innovative, organised and motivated
- Time management
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
- Willingness to challenge yourself
- Capable with Microsoft Office including Outlook
- Experience in a similar sales environment or within shipping/freight forwarding preferred, however not essential.
Operating hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday, however some overtime may be required from time to time.
