We're seeking a Sales and Customer Service Leader to join our team and help us achieve our growth and profit objectives.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Executing strategic marketing and sales plans to meet revenue, profit and market share targets;
- The identification of new market and product opportunities, formulating and guiding the sales processes and determining product pricing;
- Managing the ongoing improvement of sales disciplines and marketing tools;
- Implementing and evaluating marketing promotions;
- Developing the marketing and sales capacity of the incumbent team and recruiting new skills and capacity where required; and
- Contributing to overall strategic direction for the Company.
As a succession role, we want someone who is eager to take the reins and has a drive to continue to shape this business into the future.
To achieve this, we are looking for:
- An experienced leader. You will have extensive leadership experience in Sales and marketing and preferably direct knowledge, networks and expertise in the commercial food manufacturing or agricultural sectors;
- A skilled relationship builder. You pride yourself on your ability to build and maintain long standing relationships based on trust;
- A star communicator. Your written and verbal communication skills are exceptional and see you excel in negotiation and Customer relations;
- A high achiever. You are cool and calm under pressure and thrive on achieving deadlines and sales targets;
- An all-rounder. In addition to your sales experience, you bring commercial understanding and a high level of business acumen to the leadership table; and
- A customer-centric personality. Customers are at the forefront of all that you do.
