What it’s all about
Dale Carnegie is best known around the globe for his impact on professional and personal development - perhaps you’ve read “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. As a global training organization, we facilitate the development of people and teams through courses in leadership, interpersonal skills, presentations, Sales and more.
Not only this, but we’re a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up advisory to our strategic and enterprise clients. We work with clients in a range of different ways, whether they’re rolling out change initiatives, developing leaders across levels, or looking for ways to enhance company culture and build strong talent acquisition and retention strategies.
As a Sales and Marketing Assistant, you’ll be someone who likes to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You can work as part of a team, but also independently manage competing priorities. The role is like the “glue” between the sales team, marketing operations and trainers, and you’ll collaborate with team members across functions using your excellent communication skills to support projects. This diverse, hands-on role requires the ability and determination to coordinate and execute a variety of Sales and Marketing materials, as well as excellent attention to detail.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing branded PowerPoint slide decks for client and internal training sessions
- Creating training manuals and documents
- Creating the design elements for client proposals
- Ensuring all content is created in line with the brand guidelines
- Developing marketing collateral, including but not limited to flyers, online banners, and social media content
- Preparing reports, managing databases, and visualizing data
- Supporting the facilitation team with online client training sessions
- Participating in project work as directed, supporting the delivery of work priorities
About you:
To be successful in this role, you’ll likely have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar marketing and/or sales assistant role
- Creative and confident in working with design and graphics (Adobe Suite and Canva experience highly desired)
- Strong, clear, and professional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with CRM and CMS systems (Experience using Salesforce highly advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines
What else should you know
