Responsibilities:
• Drive New Business for OzGreen Energy’s cloud data services in water utilities, government departments, and large industrial clients.
• Utilise channel relationships, networking, outreach, and referrals for business generation.
• Develop cross-functional proposals using cloud-based communications, sensors, and technology services.
• Demonstrate curiosity, thought leadership, and a collaborative culture in engaging with prospects.
• Execute a comprehensive Business Development plan with a focus on executive-level negotiation.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closed deals.
• Expand existing business year over year and achieve at least 100% growth in New Business secured.
• Manage long sale cycles to C-levels in water utilities and write tenders (RFP/RFI) for multi-million-dollar projects.
• Identify new segments and markets for existing portfolio products.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in business/economics/science or related fields with focus on ecological/environmental/water aspects.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in international water utility markets operating offshore in a similar role
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in this role in the water utility sector in Australia and New Zealand.
- Willingness to travel internationally and nationally up to 50% of time.
Day to Day:
• Identify and develop strategies for New Business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Direct the development and implementation of sales strategies for cloud-based smart products and services.
• Work with water utility partners to accelerate new client acquisitions and maintain strategic relationships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with water utility C-level executives and operational team leaders.
• Conduct research and market analysis to identify opportunities in managed services and cloud space.
• Develop go-to-market materials, campaigns, and sales initiatives to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote services.
• Own and drive opportunities from lead to close, overseeing presales process and proposals.
