We are proudly partnering with a highly respected mining services organisation, in their search for an experienced and passionate Business Development Lead, to join them in this newly created role.
In this pivotal role, you will play a key role in expanding the market reach, forging strategic partnerships, and generating significant revenue on a national and global scale.
About the role:
- Build strong connections with educational institutions, corporations, industry influencers, and potential partners.
- Leverage your negotiation skills to secure mutually beneficial partnerships that drive growth for both parties.
- Implement effective lead generation strategies, qualify leads, and nurture them through the sales cycle.
- Showcase the LMS platform's capabilities and value proposition to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and pain points.
- Utilise your closing skills to secure deals and consistently exceed assigned sales quotas.
- Work closely with the internal sales team to share best practices, develop joint strategies, and achieve collective sales goals. Also Collaborate with marketing and product development to effectively position the LMS platform, ensuring its messaging aligns with market needs and resonates with target audiences.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Business Development, preferably in SaaS.
- Deep understanding of digital learning, EdTech, and the industry landscape.
- Possess strong knowledge of subscription-based services, sales cycles, pricing, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to forge strong connections with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing successful Business Development strategies.
- Willing to learn, embrace new technologies, and contribute fresh ideas.
- Excellent analytical skills to measure Business Development effectiveness.
