About the role:
As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our engagement with our insurance clients. Your expertise in navigating and expediting the approval process will not only enhance operational efficiency but also support our aim of delivering timely repairs and excellent service. This is not a cold-calling role, all leads are pre-qualified warm leads, ready to be converted.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with our insurance clients to expedite the approval process of our submitted quotes.
- Implement and maintain a tracking system to monitor the status of pending jobs and communicate delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategies to accelerate our clients response times and approvals, ensuring a faster turnaround for project commencement.
- Coordinate with the claims and estimating teams to ensure any necessary revisions to scopes and quotes are submitted promptly and accurately.
- Support client retention by reporting on and increasing our win/loss records and conversion rates.
- Regularly update internal teams and stakeholders on the progress of insurance approvals and any potential bottlenecks.
- Build and maintain strong relations with both our client base and our internal stakeholders.
- Proactively contacting customers with a view to driving sales outcomes and identifying further opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in our CRM system.
- Respond effectively to customer enquiries, resolving issues and providing accurate information.
- Plan daily responsibilities to meet required KPI’s and targets.
- Assist the wider team in achieving overall KPI results.
- Measure and report on variations.
- Establishes regular meetings with wider Insurance teams (Pre & Post WIP) to ensure collaboration.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to create process and systems regarding pricing.
- Support operational requirements as required by management.
- Perform various other duties as requested by AJ Grant management.
We Require from You:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is required (minimum 5 years)
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with a proven ability to influence external parties.
- Communication, leadership and people engagement skills
- Experience working in the insurance industry would be advantageous, however not essential
- Demonstrated ability to build constructive professional relationships and to effectively manage stakeholders
- Prior experience of engaging with client executives, senior management and other relevant key stakeholders
- Have an appetite for budgets, systems, stakeholders, and planning
- High level collaborator
- Experience in project management software or CRM systems that can track and manage follow-up activities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- Advanced problem-solving skills to identify and address delays in the insurance approval process.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and accountability.
