THE OPPORTUNITY
As our Sales Consultant, your primary focus will be on developing genuine and authentic relationships with our clients in the Equestrian sector. You'll serve as the trusted advisor, understanding and solving the unique challenges our customers face in the construction industry. Your role will involve leveraging your extensive construction sector experience to provide tailored solutions for long-term success.
Key areas of responsibility:
Sales Target:
- Achieve an average annual sales target of $7 million.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
- Be a key player in the Equestrian sector by attending events and building valuable connections.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate authentic relationships with clients through networking initiatives.
- Leverage extensive construction sector experience to provide tailored solutions.
- Showcase expertise in building high-quality sales pipelines.
- Utilise CRM systems for efficient customer relationship management.
- Provide accurate and detailed quotations.
- Persistently follow up on opportunities, going the extra mile to secure deals.
- Attend industry events to expand networking opportunities.
ABOUT YOU
You possess a genuine passion for the Equestrian sector and a profound understanding of the market complexities. Your in-depth knowledge of our client's market landscape and well-developed construction industry network will set you up for success in this pivotal sales role.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:
- Possess a genuine passion for the Equestrian sector and a deep understanding of the market.
- Proven experience in long-term sales within the commercial construction sector.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel for business development.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Networking prowess with a history of attending industry events.
- Proficiency in building quality sales pipelines.
- Previous experience using CRM systems.
- Previous experience drafting quotations.
- A hunger, drive and persistence, in following up opportunities, going the extra mile.
