This is an external based, full time sales role, servicing schools and educational facilities in Melbourne’s south metro region.
Responsibilities:
Develop a strong knowledge of our educational furniture product range
Use negotiation and selling skills to secure sales in line with targets
Liaise with principals, business managers, facilities managers, teachers and suppliers
Create 2D floor plans using Visio
Prepare recommendations for school interiors
Prepare quotations and costing schedules, including tenders and delivery fees
Prepare client presentations
Service an existing client base and develop new business
Requirements:
· 4-5 years sales experience, ideally in design, commercial furniture or estimating
· Previous experience quoting/estimating including freight
· Previous experience with customer relationship management, visio and google drive
software
· Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to build rapport quickly
· Excellent problem solving and negotiating skills
· Previous experience working with architects will be highly regarded
· Qualifications in interior design will be highly regarded
· Must possess a reliable car and hold a current drivers license
· Must have permanent working rights
