As we grow, you'll grow. Wages will be assessed depending on experience and qualifications, and include Super, bonuses as well as regular performance and pay reviews.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Follow up on referral based business, sales enquiries and potential leads

Generate system layouts and components ready for client proposals and contracts 

Ensure our clients have a professional and easy installation experience from start to finish

You are required to work unsupervised and focus solely on acquiring business and residential customers

Ideal for ambitious goal-getters

As a Solar Salesperson, you will be responsible for driving sales of our solar energy solutions to both residential and commercial clients. You will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to provide high-quality solar solutions that meet our customers' needs

Customer liaison, making calls to customers

Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers through effective communication and follow-up

Create proposals and quotes for potential customers

Close sales and meet or exceed monthly sales targets

Manage and update customer data in the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system

Attend industry events to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

What we are looking for:

Somebody highly motivated, focused and sales driven, preferably with 1-3 years of experience in solar sales

Strong work ethic and determination to succeed

Love learning about new products and improving your skill set

Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Genuinely care about your customers and the big picture of achieving a high quality solar system

Ability to conduct site assessments and create proposals for potential customers

Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals

Familiarity with CRM systems and Google Workplace

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Be passionate and results focused sales professional and hungry to succeed

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE MAINLY LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED SOLAR SALES EXPERTS. However, if you have a proven track record in a direct sales role for an extended period of time eg in Home Improvements, Energy or Telco Industries please also feel free apply.

Skills and experience

Sales and Business development experience required

A self-driven, people-person will stand out as we like people who are serious about all tasks and take ownership of their duties.

Account Management experience preferred and if you have a business client base from any industry, you will do well from the start

A passion for renewable energy and a desire to help people to reduce their energy costs

Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to engage in a positive manner.
