KONE are looking for a Sales Consultant to Join our Modernisation team in Adelaide S.A. Working in a customer orientated and highly motivated team, you will proactively target clients to sell elevator and escalator solutions. You will spend a large portion of your time out in the field developing business to drive sales and attain budgeted growth within our Modernisation solutions team.

What will you be doing?

  • Building rapport with new and existing clients across a range of industries
  • Manage the Tender process
  • Presenting our solutions to the client
  • Close the sale and manage the handover to Project Management/ Account Management of existing key clients
  • Provide technical product information to both internal & external client groups
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements to capitalise on all lead opportunities
  • Estimating, tendering and quoting small and large project submissions
  • Upselling and cross selling at every opportunity
  • Building strong partnerships with key internal KONE teams to facilitate a world class customer experience

What are we looking for?

  • A passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced, commercial environment within the lift or Building/ Construction Industries highly desirable
  • Strong Technical background with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications desirable
  • Degree or Diploma qualification in an appropriate technical or business- related discipline
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
  • Outstanding communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Experience using CRM (e.g. Salesforce) is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience with tenders
  • Hunter mentality, who loves to close deals
  • Valid Australian driver's license
