With a team of experienced gardeners on hand, they provide all garden maintenance services ranging from small one-off jobs to larger ongoing commercial contracts.
We are seeking a seasoned horticulturalist with a passion for all things gardening, to join the team as a Part Time Sales Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to take a step out of the sun and work from home, continuing to utilise your horticultural knowledge and support business growth.
About the role:
This role will be responsible for coordinating and booking garden maintenance jobs across Perth, requiring an extensive knowledge of horticultural plants, products, and the procedures. To ensure success in this position, you will be highly organised, possess excellent relationship management skills, coupled with a confident sales approach.
Working Monday to Friday approx. 25-35 hours per week, this role will see you provide clients with horticultural support, share product knowledge, and promote garden recommendations. In addition, you will liaise with the HR team regarding seasonal, specialised practical training of existing gardening employees.
Further duties will include:
- Process client inquiries and estimate booking requirements by phone
- Coordinate bookings of garden maintenance jobs onto calendar/schedule
- Follow up tasks, recommendations and clients’ needs whilst maintaining accurate data in SalesForce (CRM)
- Liaise with Team Leaders and clients with regard to gardening needs, recommendations, products and general advice
- Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Placement of product orders, including deliveries, based on season team requirements
You will require:
- Certificate III or Diploma in either Horticulture (Parks & Gardens) or equivalent is highly desired
- Experience in garden/park maintenance, pest and disease control, weed and pruning techniques, plant nutrition and seasonal applications
- Experience with SalesForce CRM or similar
- An equip office space to work from home (laptop will be provided)
- Own reliable transport and WA Drivers license
