About the Opportunities:
You will focus on developing strong customer relationships, communication with our Midvale team members and maintaining an organised floor of stock. We have a broad range or suppliers and customers from the Margaret River wine region and beyond as well as those working with olive oil, in breweries and orchards. We understand the importance of work life balance and can offer flexible hours to the right candidate. The focus of your role is to provide an outstanding sales experience for all customers in store and over the telephone whilst:
- Processing counter sales
- Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
- Stock counts and inventory maintenance, ordering, receipting goods
- Dispatching orders including quoting freight
- Maintaining safety processes
- Assisting with merchandise campaign material
- Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You’ll have a passion for Australian agriculture, with a willingness to learn knowledge of vineyard and winemaking merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Experience working within a sales environment is essential with an eager approach to learn about the specific fields we cater for such as wineries, breweries and many more
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MYOB
