In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership and direction to the Isolation Valves Sales Organisation.
- Keeping abreast of emerging trends and initiatives involving the customer's business
- Developing and implementing strategies to strengthen Emerson's customer relationships.
- Building and maintaining relationships with high-level and C-suite decision-makers and influencers
- Formulating a vision of a customer-supplier relationship that is sensitive to the needs of other contributing functions in both organisations.
- Overseeing the development of wide and deep relationships across the region and broadly across all strategic functions.
- Building strong advocates in the customer organisation who can be called upon to acquire an understanding of different strategic imperatives and challenges.
- Helping the customer see approaches that are tailored to the customers' value drivers and recognize needs.
- Consistently and dependably follow through on commitments and deadlines.
- Role modelling the appropriate leadership behaviours to ensure a culture of integrity and safety.
Who you are:
You keep up with current and possible future policies, practices, and trends in the organization, with the competition, and in the marketplace. You build competitive and breakthrough strategies that show a clear connection between vision and action.
For this role, you will need:
- Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Senior sales and account management experience within an industrial and business-to-business context
- Project pursuit experience and expertise including the ability to engage early and work collaboratively in defining automation solutions engagements.
- Experience and understanding of sales budgeting processes, forecasting, and financial reporting.
