SALES & ENABLEMENT MANAGER

About the role:

Your role will entail close coordination with departments such as Marketing, Sales, Buying, and Retail Operations, ensuring that all sales enablement endeavors are meticulously aligned with our client's overarching business goals. As an accomplished executive, sales expert, and proficient project manager, you possess exceptional communication skills and seamlessly collaborate across various departments within the organization. In this capacity, you will assume accountability for driving sales excellence in the retail sector. With our client's expanding operations, we are actively seeking a skilled and energetic Sales Enablement Manager. Your primary objective will be to optimize the efficiency of our client's retail sales team. This entails devising and executing strategies, processes, and tools aimed at empowering our sales force to not only meet but exceed performance benchmarks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and heading up projects and initiatives aimed at improving sales effectiveness and driving revenue growth
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy tailored to the unique needs of a retail business
  • Partner with marketing teams, buying, senior management & retail operations to develop compelling sales collateral, presentations, and other assets that support the sales process
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify key areas for improvement and prioritise sales enablement initiatives accordingly
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the organisation
  • Establish and maintain sales enablement technology platforms, such as CRM systems and sales productivity tools, to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
  • Analyse sales performance metrics and feedback from the field to continuously optimise sales enablement programs and initiatives
  • Ahead of the game & on top of current industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales enablement to maintain a competitive edge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferrable, and/or Extensive experience within the retail landscape, with a proven track record of success in driving sales and leading projects.
  • Proven experience over 5 years in sales enablement, sales operations, or a related field, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales processes, customer behavior, and the market
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and sales enablement technologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering measurable impact on sales performance.
