Position Overview: My client is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join their Perth team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in an internal or external sales role, specifically in selling products such as chains, gearboxes, motors, VSDs, or bearings. This role offers a competitive package, including a base salary, superannuation, bonus, and a ompany car allowance. Minimal travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the industrial, production, and processing markets.
- Promote and sell a range of Power Transmission products and conveyor chains.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food and beverage, timber, and aftermarket sectors.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales role, ideally with a focus on mechanical equipment such as chains, gearboxes, motors, VSDs, or bearings.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Technical aptitude and a strong understanding of industrial products.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
