THE OPPORTUNITY

ACCO Brands Australia has a current career opportunity to join our field sales team as a Sales Executive, reporting into our Business Development Manager - Speciality. This role is an on the road role with the remainder in the Perth office. 

As a key member of our sales team, you would be responsible for managing accounts, maintaining long term relationships within these accounts with the relevant key stake holders.

This role is responsible for the implementation and execution of our marketing and promotional strategy, development of account specific activity and working closely with the manager to execute our business plans. The role will have regional responsibilities of the WA, SA & NT customer base. Your responsibility for the role would be 50% maintaining and nurturing current customer accounts and 50% developing new business in your region.

You would be required to do the following, but not limited to:

  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets and margin 
  • Build positive and strategic relationships with all existing contacts within allocated accounts
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, weakness, and strengths to develop our business strategy
  • Respond personally to the customer's queries and complaints promptly
  • Attend trade shows and events domestically and internationally
ABOUT YOU
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders
  • Ability to build and manage strong relationships at all levels of the customers business
  • Ability to negotiate sales deals that will accomplish budgeted margins and correspond to the company's sales policies.
  • Previous experience in Category / Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success
