About the role
We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Executive for their paper sacks and flexibles division in Perth. In this role, the successful candidate will report directly to divisional sales managers, overseeing customer management across Western Australia and actively contributing to new business development initiatives. This is a “hands-on” position that will allow you to play a crucial role in the business's growth trajectory within the thriving packaging industry. While a background in packaging is advantageous, candidates from capital equipment, FMCG, or engineering/industrial sectors would be suitable. Experience representing a locally manufactured product is highly regarded, and initial product training will be provided as part of the induction program.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in consultative Business Development.
- Identify and close new sales opportunities.
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships from senior management to the factory floor.
- A customer-focused approach
- Collaboration with internal teams for optimal outcomes.
- Analysis of commercial implications of decisions while prioritising customer needs.
- High-level communication skills, adept at Microsoft applications.
- Effective problem-solving, coordinate resolutions with customer teams and internal resources
- Solve problems and coordinate resolutions by engaging with customer teams and internal resources.
- Minimum 5 years of direct B2B sales experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Skilled in Microsoft applications for presentations and business reviews.
- Technically adept with a quick learning curve for new concepts.
- A track record in managing sales budgets and achieving KPIs.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and urgent approach.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably D365.
- Strong time management skills, adept at prioritizing conflicting tasks.
