WHY WORK FOR PICKLES Highly successful, market leading Australian business Competitive remuneration structure Work flexibly and remotely - phone, laptop, car or car allowance provided ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a driven and customer focused Business Development Executive to join our team based in Dubbo or surrounding areas. In this role you will be driving sales growth by building and maintaining long-term business relationships with small-medium size businesses who are looking to sell or auction their transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment or machinery through Pickles. In addition to this you will see yourself: Develop new business opportunities for Pickles and maintaining existing relationships Drive new business through cold calling, and following up on leads from existing clients to source trucks, machinery and other stock for sale or auction Conduct effective face to face and/or online meetings with our clients to sell the right solutions Conduct inspections and/or valuations of trucks and machinery Work within the branch and the wider team on inspection and sale days You're the most positive person you know, you're up for a challenge and you've got the gift to make things happen. Nothing phases you. Proven experience in sales and new business development Knowledge of transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment is desirable but not essential Ability to use a CRM system to identify existing and new opportunities Outstanding customer service, time management and solutions focused skills High level interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently - you will be working closely with other departments to ensure assets are prepared for auction as well as working your region to source assets WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Employee Salary & Benefits - Competitive salary packaging and commissions, with the tools of the trade supplied - company car or car allowance, mobile phone, laptop and company uniform, expense account.
