Sales Lead - Affinity Pacific
What can you expect?
In this newly created role, you will work with the wider Affinity Segment to execute sales campaigns to prospective prospects across sectors such as Buying Groups, Transport, Entertainment, Sport and much more!
As a Sales Lead, your core role will be to execute sales and manage the national Affinity sales pipeline. Additional keys to success will be to build and maintain strong and effective networks as well as coaching & fostering a growth mindset with colleagues in order to generate business and revenue growth. Attention to detail and a regimented approach to pipeline management is critical.
This role reports into the Affinity Strategic Product Leader - Pacific.

We will count on you to:
- Manage prospect pipeline, maintaining regular communications with all prospects and efficiently moving opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Drive sales and campaigns
- Cultivate senior executive and senior management relationships with prospects/clients
- Analyse and manage financial & sales reporting to the Affinity executive leadership team
- Be able to identify client needs and clearly articulate our proposed solutions.
What you need to have:
- Tier 1 FSRA compliant
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Possess excellent, verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Intermediate/advanced user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook
- Be highly self-motivated with the ability to influence and lead other colleagues in the pursuit of an opportunity.
What makes you stand out:
- 5+ years previous experience working in the insurance industry, with a proven track record growing a portfolio of clients and executing sales
- Possess an entrepreneurial mentality with previous experience in B2B sales
- Tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related discipline
- Diploma or FSRA Tier 1 training via a reputable industry body (e.g. ANZIIF, NIBA)
- Admission as a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker by the National insurance brokers Association of Australia (desired but not essential).
