We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as Business Development Manager (Cloud Solutions). Initially on a contract basis, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for the generation of leads and new business within Australia. Salary commensurate with experience, with the ability to pro-rata if flexible days or hours is preferred (results dependent).
Experience
- Understanding and experience with cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Demonstrated sales experience within the technology sector (cloud-computing preferred) and the ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Strong skills in prospecting and lead generation, with the ability to identify and qualify potential clients for cloud solutions.
- Understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, challenges and regulations relating to cloud service providers.
- The ability to position solutions which align with industry needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; enabling articulation of the value of cloud solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to handle consumer objections, effectively negotiate and close sales.
- Strong analytical skills to assess sales performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
