- Optimise order processing accuracy and efficiency through continuous process improvement.
- Finesse and maintain relationships with transport contractors to ensure cost-effective and reliable delivery services.
- Systemize warehouse stock management to optimise inventory levels and minimise stockouts.
- Optimise sales processes at three small company run Trade depots
- Improve internal liaison processes with specifiers and architects
- Optimise use of Salesforce CRM data to facilitate effective follow up by Internal Sales staff
- Strong commercial acumen and consultative negotiation skills
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities
- Process and systems-oriented mindset to streamline operations.
- Systematic approach to transport scheduling and logistics management
- Excellent customer service ethic and active engagement with the trade
- Retail store management experience, including merchandising and customer engagement strategies.
- Marketing awareness and ability to acquire new customers in a B2B setting.
- Understanding of professional salesmanship and the process to convert prospects to customers.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in hands-on sales operations, preferably within the building materials industry
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing sales and customer service teams.
- Demonstrated success in process optimization and system implementation to drive operational efficiency.
- Experience in maintain relationships with transport contractors.
- Familiarity with trade store operations and customer engagement strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
