Our Sales Manager will be the driving force of acquiring and nurturing advertising clients on our platform.
General Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to join our team. With this exciting role, you will be responsible for attending qualified appointments with specialist doctors and health-related businesses who are interested in advertising on our platform to reach General Practitioners.
We are looking for a Sales Manager who will be hands-on with client conversion and relationship building, while overseeing a remote sales team who will be involved in cold sales effort. You will have proven experience with the entire sales process: lead generation, deal closing, relationship building. Apart from having your own sales skills, this role demands a leader with an ability to advise and monitor a team of outsourced sales representatives. You will train remote sales representatives to carry out cold sales efforts aimed at acquiring qualified leads for yourself. In addition, you will meet our client acquisition and revenue growth targets by crafting sales strategy plans and maximising our remote sales team potential.
Working in a start-up environment, we are also after a Sales Manager who can effectively relay market insights & feedback learnt from the sales field back to the team. Our product is an evolving digital platform - therefore, we need someone who is a quick learner, digitally savvy, and ideally possesses a background in healthcare and digital industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a track record of direct B2B sales
- Attend appointments with specialist doctors and health-related businesses
- Convert potential clients to paying advertisers
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings
- Oversee the remote sales team as a hands-on Sales Manager
- Train remote sales representatives in cold sales efforts to acquire qualified leads for yourself
- Advise and monitor a team of outsourced sales representatives to achieve lead generation goals
- Continuously improves the effectiveness of sales tactics based on learnt insights on the job
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to optimise lead generation, drive client conversion, and meet revenue growth targets
- Relay market insights and feedback from the sales field effectively to the managerial team
- Monitor and present sales performance, sales targets, and revenue forecast to the managerial team
Skills/Experience:
- Strong background in sales, with a proven track record
- Has the right balance between being a people person and managing by the numbers
- Excellent organisation and planning skills as well as good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated to do what is required to create opportunities and succeed
- A professional business presentation
- Proven negotiation techniques to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome
- Must own a vehicle and have a valid driver’s licence
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Has experience working in a startup environment undertaking a similar role
- Past industry exposure or experience in healthcare or technology-based solution selling
- Experience in managing/coaching a sales team
