DAVID GRAYS is a leading supplier to both commercial & municipal customers of their various equipment requirements and inputs.
We are seeking suitably experienced applicants to fill a vacant Sales Management role focusing on our range of Mobile Garbage Bins (Wheelie Bins & Industrial Bins) & further waste management equipment and handling products. The role prioritises B2B customer relationship management, management of supply partner relationships and expectations, as well as general growth of sales.
Only applicants with a current and valid C Class drivers license will be eligible for the role.
Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Development and management of relationships with key municipal, industrial waste and bin distribution network customers.
- Preparation of simple quotes as well as more complex/detailed quotes including government tender submissions.
- Building relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Management of key supply partner relationships and expectations.
- Work with internal DAVID GRAYS team to capitalise on the company marketing effort.
- Maintain and grow our Waste equipment division product range where applicable to suit customer requirements.
- Recommend changes in products by evaluating sales and competitive developments
Knowledge & experience of logistics and freight would also be seen as an advantage but is not vital.
The role is a full time role with the package including company expensed vehicle and mobile phone.
Ideally the successful applicant would
- Possess the ability to self manage
- Possess the ability to self motivate
- A proactive attitude and professional presentation
- Be naturally confident when representing the company to customers and suppliers
- Have great communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Previous sales/business development experience maintaining and managing multiple accounts
- Knowledge of Waste Industry products would be an advantage
- A current driver’s licence
