About the roleIn this dynamic and challenging role you will be responsible for taking charge of 2 sales teams across 2 locations coevering both the north and south side of Brisbane. You will also work closely with Senior Management to assist with the implementation of new policies and procedures to help streamline the business.Skills & experienceAs the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
Previous sales management experience within the Aluminium/Steel/Metals industries
Excellent customer relationship management skills
A “hands on” approach to business
A sound technical knowledge of the industry and related products
An ability to coach, mentor and develop sales people
The ability to work closely with people across all levels of the business
Previous experience implementing policies and procedures that have helped streamline operations
Sound commercial acumen with an understanding of financial matters
Excellent time management, presentation, negotiation and communication skills
