The Opportunity

We are seeking an Business Development / Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Newcastle, Hunter, Maitland  and Central West region of New South Wales. This is an exciting time of rapid expansion, where you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining vital customer relationships.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Developing new business relationships and driving the growth of our service division.
• Generating and negotiating new income streams to meet annual targets.
• Identifying and proposing new service/product/business opportunities.
• Managing all aspects of the sales process from start to finish.
• Maintaining and expanding existing client relationships.

The Ideal Candidate

If you have a sales background in the mechanical, industrial, automotive or mining industries, or if you thrive on bringing in new business opportunities, this role could be for you! Effective sales and negotiation skills are imperative.

Requirements

• Sales experience is mandatory.
• Exposure to Hose and Fittings or Similar Industry Experience.
• Experience in using a CRM system.
• Solid client management experience with a commercial focus.
• Effective decision-making skills.
• Ability to actively drive growth and find opportunities.
• Advanced influencing and negotiation skills.
• High level of interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Results-focused mindset with a high level of initiative.
