Position Overview: As Sales Manager you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, speaking with customers, and taking inbound customer calls preparing quotes and exceeding sales targets along with your team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a hunger for sales and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with both individual customers and businesses in the automotive industry. This involves understanding their needs, providing product information, and offering solutions tailored to their requirements.
Sales Generation: Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. This could involve pitching products and services to potential clients and negotiating deals to secure sales.
Product Knowledge: Having a deep understanding of the automotive fitment products offered by our company, including the features, benefits, and applications. This knowledge is essential for effectively communicating with customers and addressing their enquiries.
Order Processing and Follow-up: Managing the sales process from initial contact to order fulfillment, ensuring a seamless experience for customers. This includes processing orders, coordinating with other departments (such as logistics or technical support), and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Analysis: Tracking sales performance metrics, such as revenue targets, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
Analysing this data allows you to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize sales effectiveness with your team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales role. Industry experience preferred but not mandatory as we are recruiting on attitude, capability, systems, and processes implementation experience.
- Tasks include pipeline management tracking leads, understanding dashboarding and reporting to the owners of the business.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ideally an in-depth knowledge of automotive accessories, parts, and fitment services. Although a keen interest in cars or previous work in a related industry we would consider.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
