The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) is very excited to expand our Conventions Sales team with a role in National Conventions Sales leading into an amazing decade of growth and change, culminating in the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
BCEC is an acknowledged world leading convention centre and plays a significant role in Brisbane’s growth by attracting national and international conferences to Brisbane. We do this by working with Australian peak bodies and collaborating with them to further the aims of their organisations by holding their conventions in Brisbane.
BCEC works closely with key associations, professional colleges, universities, and research and government organisations to attract key events to Brisbane. We bid for and win conventions in a competitive national market to provide economic impact to Brisbane and Queensland.

- Experience in using CRM systems, and specifically Momentus (USI), is favourable but not essential.
About the role….
- Maintain an allocated portfolio of bid opportunities and place bids in a timely manner, qualifying each opportunity to ensure the highest win probability.
- Progress bid opportunities through the pipeline by external sales calls, telecalls, invitations, site inspections and other appropriate methods.
- Compose and deliver presentations to clients to support proposals/bids when appropriate.
- Understand and be up to date with industry intelligence and market trends.
